Every time Addie spoke with her MH foster care worker she would talk about her upcoming birthday and the many ways she was thinking of celebrating it. Since the pandemic started, the way we celebrate birthdays and holidays changed considerably. Addie hoped it would be a great birthday given the circumstances, but what she didn’t know was that her foster parents were working behind the scenes to be sure it would be a birthday she would never forget! They surprised her with the birthday party of her dreams because Addie deserved to be celebrated. They bought the coolest snacks, the brightest balloons, and invited a few of Addie’s favorite people. To make it more exciting, the whole party was Glow in the Dark! Addie had the best time with her glow necklaces, glow paint, and glow party activities. Addie, we think you are truly special.
