What is Supportive Housing?
For more than 26 years, Monroe Harding has served as a bridge to independence, providing over 1,400 young adults with the housing and support they need to thrive. We operate eight supportive housing homes across Nashville, offering young adults the dignity of fully furnished private bedrooms and bathrooms within a community-oriented environment. By focusing on the critical transition years when family support may be limited, our programs help reduce the risk of homelessness so young adults can focus on building a successful path to independence.
To meet the diverse needs of young adults, Monroe Harding offers two supportive housing programs. Bright Futures serves young adults ages 18–21 transitioning out of foster care who meet program eligibility requirements. The Private Pay program serves young adults ages 18–25 who are at risk of homelessness, offering affordable, high-quality housing at a flat monthly rate that includes rent, utilities, and high-speed internet.
Supportive Housing offers more than a place to stay. Residents who are transitioning out of foster care and in both programs also have access to voluntary life skills training.
